gōngfu xióngmāo(功夫熊猫) Kung Fu Panda

功夫熊猫(gōngfu xióngmāo) Kung Fu Panda is a remarkable movie released in June last year. Chinese style is prevailing in the movie, which is the combination of "功夫"(gōngfu) Chinese martial arts and China's national treasure--panda. Many Chinese enjoyed this movie as well, so you know that while humorous and entertaining, it still stayed true to the Chinese elements it introduced. The combination of humor and kung fu culture was enough to make even the Chinese laugh, and the lines in this movie are also fabulous and unforgettable.

中国功夫(zhōng ggōngfu) Chinese Kung Fu
"功夫"(gōngfu) kung fu in China is both popular and traditional, and it has a long history of development. Many Chinese and foreigners alike love it and want to learn it. "功"(gōng) means achievement and  accomplishment and "夫"(fu)refers to men, so the phrase can be understood as accomplished men. In ancient China, those who were taught "功夫"  (gōngfu) kung fu were all men, but now everyone can learn "功夫"(gōngfu) kung fu in China, including foreigners. It is now also known as "kung Fu" in the world. You can say "李小龙的功夫非常棒"(Lĭxiǎolóng de gōngfu fēicháng bàng) Li Xiaolong's kung fu is great.

Suzhou Gardens

Suzhou, a cultural and historical city in east China's Jiangsu Province, is celebrated around the world for its elegant gardens.

The history of Suzhou's gardens can be traced as far back as the Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC). Distinctive gardens continued to appear throughout the subsequent dynasties, but it was during the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1644 - 1911) that the garden art of Suzhou was at its zenith. The prospering city and its outskirts were dotted with exquisite private gardens. Dozens of them, such as Zhuozheng (Humble Administrator's) Garden, Liuyuan (Lingering) Garden, Wangshi (Master of Nets) Garden and Huanxiu (Embracing Beauty) Mountain Villa, are still well preserved today.

Imperial gardens and private gardens each developed their own distinctive features over many years. The imperial gardens of Beijing are considered the finest examples of that style. They are noted for their expansive size, grandeur and stateliness. The gardens of Suzhou are the epitome of landscaping art for the private garden, with their delicacy, intimacy, and simplicity. The designers of private gardens, not bound by the rigid conventions of the imperial court, had greater freedom of expression in their art.

The ancient gardens of Suzhou were designed to be lived in as much as were the houses to which they were attached. Paths invited residents and their guests to wander, offering a new view at every bend; pavilions, gazebos or simple seats offered comfortable spots in which to relax, chat, and perhaps to take some refreshments or pen a poem. This type of landscaping was often used in the densely populated cities, where residents recalled the countryside with nostalgia and yearned to commune with nature.

Zhuozheng (Humble Administrator's) Garden, Liuyuan (Lingering) Garden, Wangshi (Master of Nets) Garden and Huanxiu (Embracing Beauty) Mountain Villa of Suzhou are representative of the Ming- and Qing-dynasty landscape architecture in areas south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. In fact, it was the perfection of the designs and workmanship of these gardens that influenced landscaping throughout the region.

Horizontal inscribed boards, hanging scrolls, sculptures and hall decorations, as well as the trees, stones and ponds in the gardens are not only delightful treats for the senses. They also provide a wealth of information as to the history, society, values and aesthetics of the eras in which they were built. They are storehouses of the artifacts of their times: calligraphy, carvings and paintings. But they are also treasure troves of classical thought. Wandering through the gardens even today, people can enjoy reflecting on the philosophic concepts and ideologies of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism; they can still sense the romance of the ancient poetry and prose that influenced the gardens' creators.

In recent years, the influence of the Suzhou gardens' designs has even traveled across oceans. Ming Hall Garden, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, is a copy of a section of the Master of Nets Garden. The design of the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden in Vancouver, Canada, was based on the Ming Dynasty Suzhou garden style.

In 1997, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) added to its prestigious list of world cultural heritage sites Suzhou's Zhuozheng (Humble Administrator's) Garden, Wangshi (Master of Nets) Garden, Liuyuan (Lingering) Garden, Canglang (Surging Waves) Pavilion, Yipu Garden (Garden of Cultivation), Huanxiu (Embracing Beauty) Mountain Villa, Ouyuan (Couple's Garden Retreat) Garden, Shizilin (Lion Forest) Garden and Tuisiyuan (Retreat and Reflection) Garden.

Wholesale Sweaters

Wholesale women's sweaters & cardigans

A fundamental division of wholesale women's sweaters is between cardigans and pullovers. They may be produced with zips, buttons, pockets and hats or not. A few collars of pullovers are very large while others are tight. Most pullovers will be more pretty with sweater chains. You can wear the wholesale women's cardigans outside directly. And some wholesale women's sweaters are produced to wear as coats with the sweater belts. An adorable band or colorful scarff would act as a good fashionable accessory on wholesale women's cardigans. Belts could always work well with the long wholesale sweaters. If you still feel cold, tight sweaters in white or black will be helpful.

Chinese dishes have five characters----color,smell,taste,mean and shape.cutting technique ,foodstuff ,duration and degree of heating and season are the four point of chinese cooking.
The eight foreigners favorite Chinese dishes
Guangzhou people actually have made outstanding contributions to changing the diet of foreigners .Because they occupy a large proportion of Overseas Chinese.

Breakfast in China varies with location. In the south you can get dianxin, like you can get in Hong Kong and most North American large Chinatowns. In Northern China, most locals have youtiao (fried bread, long), mantou (steamed bread, round), yougao (fried, round, flat, sweet), and baozi (meat or veggie). Boiled eggs are pretty common throughout China, but not really breakfast food. Zhou (rice porridge) is more popular in the south, not the north. The meal is usually light. Chinese cook with only a little oil, so for breakfast they often eat youtiao to make up for this every so often.
lunch and supper:rice and dishes in Southerners . noodles in north
weather
China is a vast country with different climates, but generally speaking, spring is from April to June, summer from June to September, fall from September to October, while winter is from October to March, and usually it is colder and drier in the north in winter, and hotter and more humid in the south in summer.
May, September and October are the best months for you to travel to China when the weather is the most pleasant all over China.
Mabye you will ask "what's the weather like in summer in china?"
oky,It depends.
I used to live in southern china, therefore I am more familiar with the summer weather there.
Of course it is hot, even the wind is hot. Also, it is changeful. You can see the sun shinning above your head at one moment, and then it rains heavily the next moment.
As for the summer weather in northern china, I think it is drier.
China Tours
China’s diversity in landscape, culture and history is amazing so choosing China's Best is a difficult task. We've combined our knowledge with our customers' feedback to select what we consider to be China's top 10 tours.
They include the must see destinations: Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Guilin, the Yangtze River, Hong Kong, Suzhou, Hangzhou(where I'm living), Chengdu and Lhasa, and some surprises.
1.The Great Wall
Chinese people are always proud of their Great wall. To some extent, it represents the spirit of Chinese people and history. In many exhibitions or conferences in China, participants can easily find its existence in pictures or painting hung on walls. It has been widely expressed in politics, culture-exchange, and artistic creation. It is the symbol of China.
2.Weat Lake
Impression West Lake is one of Chinese top live-action performances strongly featured by the local culture and unique charm of Hangzhou West Lake. It is nationwide famous for its dreamlike show and fantastic elegance. Actually, the visitors in Hangzhou are unexceptionally eager to watch this life-size performance, because it is one mingled and charming show of Hangzhou culture and history. Impression West Lake is one of the representatives created by Zhang Yimou who is Chinese most famous movie director and the general director of the opening ceremony of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue. Impression West Lake is the third performance (the first and the second live-action performance made by them are Impression Liu Sanjie and Impression Lijiang River) shown initially in 2007.
3.The Bund
The Bund(Wai Tan, 外滩) is located in downtown Shanghai along Huangpu River. The Bund is an influential attraction in Shanghai and one of most famous destinations worth traveling for in Shanghai.
Shanghai became one of the five treaty ports opened to the outside world after 1840. In 1845 British colonialists occupied the Bund and established the British Concession. In 1849, the French colonialists also seized the Bund of Shanghai and established a French Concession. Since 1940s, the Bund was jointly occupied by Britain and France.
4.The Palace Museum in beijing
What strikes one first in a bird's -eye view of Beijing proper is a vast tract of golden roofs flashing brilliantly in the sun with purple walls occasionally emerging amid them and a stretch of luxuriant tree leaves flanking on each side. That is the former Imperial Palace, popularly known as the Forbidden City, from which twenty-four emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties ruled China for some 500 years--from1420 to 1911. The Ming Emperor Yong Le, who usurped the throne from his nephew and made Beijing the capital, ordered its construction, on which approximately 10,000 artists and a million workmen toiled for 14 years from 1406 to 1420. At present, the Palace is an elaborate museum that presents the largest and most complete ensemble of traditional architecture complex and more than 900,000 pieces of court treasures in all dynasties in China.
